Video Interview / Phone Screening

You'll record a video interview OR we will call you with some key questions. This gives you the opportunity to highlight their strengths and qualities.

Interview 1

You'll learn more about Reece and be interviewed by our team.

Interview 2

Second round interviews are for short-listed candidates who'll be interviewed with more senior leaders from Reece.

Reference Check

We'll undertake reference checks based on the information you've provided us.

We think of interviews as a conversation. We'll already know a bit about you - so do a bit of research and learn a bit about us. Be prepared for questions about the business and how you'd fit into the team. And bring your own questions to ask us.

We want to get to know the real you, so relax as much as you can. Smart-casual attire is just fine. Bring a copy of your resume so you have something to refer to. Reflect on your past accomplishments - and also your disappointments. Highlight your successes and learnings.

Doing a remote interview? There's nothing that kills the momentum of an online interview like tech issues. Make sure your phone or computer are fully charged. Do a test call to make sure you're comfortable. Find a quiet space and use headphones. Even the best laid plans go awry, though - if you can't hear us or don't understand the question, ask us to repeat it.

How can I make sure my application stands out?

Everyone who applies for a role at Reece is given the same time and consideration. But there are a few things you can do to help your application shine. First, do your research and let us know why you’re interested in being part of the Reece team. We love to see cover letters, portfolios, and personal websites as well as CVs/resumes as this gives us a better sense of who you are and what you're passionate about. Second, pay close attention to our different job descriptions and only apply for the roles you're truly interested in or that align with your experience.

I know someone who works at Reece. Can they refer me?

Sure, reach out to them before you apply. They can submit your details internally, so don't forget to send them your CV/resume and any other info you think they'll need.

I've applied! How long does it take to hear back?

We try to get back to everyone within a few weeks of applying. With more popular roles, this may take a bit longer. So please, bear with us.

Can I check the status of my application?

We can't give updates during the process. But rest assured, we review every application and we'll let you know either way once we have an outcome.

I've got an interview. What can I expect?

The process usually goes a little something like this. First, you'll have a video or telephone interview with one of our recruiters - a chat about you, the role, and your background. If all goes well, we'll invite you for a second interview with one or two members of the team. The final round usually involves meeting more key members across the business. Don't worry - we'll let you know who they are at every stage, and well before time. If there are multiple interviewers, one will lead and the others will shadow. This approach allows you to meet more people across the business and get a good feel for things.

How can I prepare for my interview?

We want you to show us you're great at what you do. But we'll also be considering a few other things: Do your values align with our values? Do you take ownership of your work and take pride in what you deliver? Are you adaptable? Are you collaborative? Are you driven? These are the questions we'll be asking ourselves as we interview you. So make it easy for us and give some thought to how you can demonstrate these qualities.

Can I get feedback on my interview?

We know how important feedback can be for ongoing career development, so we'll always do our best to provide it when and where we can. There may be some instances where giving detailed feedback just isn't possible, but we'll let you know if this is the case.

When will I hear back after my final interview?

We'll try our best to get back to you within a few days, although this can sometimes take a little longer if multiple candidates are interviewing for the same role. Feel free to follow up with your recruiter after the interview and reach out with any questions you may have.
