School-Based Traineeships
Backing young talent is what we do best – and we've done it for over 20 years. Through our partnership with Murray Mallee Training Company, Reece's commitment to Australian School-based Apprenticeships gives students hands-on experience that kick-starts amazing careers – more often than not, with us.
As part of our 18 to 24-month ASbA program, trainees mix regular high school days with a paid part-time job in a Reece branch. Earn a nationally-credited certificate, credit towards completing Year 12 and money? That's a win-win.
The program is open to Australian secondary school students only. Speak with your school's career advisor or VET coordinator for more information. You need to be 15 or over and enrolled in school to apply.
Grow your own way
Get hands-on experience and gain a recognised qualification while working alongside our team and directly with our trade customers. There are two certificate choices available at Reece.
Supply Chain Operations
We love our customers, and in supply chain operations you'll be delivering customised service, preparing you for a career in supporting or working in the trade.
Retail services
Interested in pursuing a career in interior design, merchandising, or sales? Our Retail Services Traineeship is a great learning ground to develop fundamental customer service and retail skills that will be helpful at every stage of your career. Work alongside our experienced showroom consultants and on our trade counter and gain broad experience working with our customers on bringing their projects to life with our extensive product range.

Merchandising
Play a key role in helping us bring the best products to the Australian market. This rotating program kicks off in our branch network, where you'll get hands-on experience with our customers and learn our product portfolio inside out. You'll then head into 'The Works' - our head office in Cremorne, Melbourne to learn alongside our Merchandising team and gain invaluable insights into brand strategy, category management, market trends, product development and launches.
